My teacher, mentor and brother Harinder Singh Sabharwal sharing some "platinum standard advice" Martial arts are replete with fakes, frauds and wannabes - the authentic experience is rarer than it should be. I have never, and will never, compromised on what I train or teach because my life has literally depended on that training. That's the same conviction I bring to my clients and students, and I am happy to be able to share a little taste of my own teacher here with you.... Singh has worked with the elite of the operational world, Special Forces, Athletes and Multinational Heads of industry across the globe. He has published numerous articles, videos and as spoken at Jack Canfields retreats on many occasions. Here he addresses Flow State - the optimal way to approach life and all it brings us. Many people talk about it, but there is also a mistake almost everyone makes when working with it - they try and get "into the flow" not realizing that it is already our natural state and that the focus should instead be on learning not to fall OUT of flow as often! Singh has been handed generations of teachings going back centuries, and i am blessed and proud that he shared these insights with me over the years. Enjoy!

Tonight was supposed to be our last night of classes before our Christmas break, however, due to this little storm we had, Jay and I decided to cancel classes tonight, and stay home safe with our families. HAVOC UNIVERSITY - LAUNCHING JANUARY 2021 HAVOC U consists 5 modules or electives - 1. Self Defense ... 2. HAVOC Fundamentals 3. Ground combat 4. Advanced principles 5. Weapons Each module is 8 weeks in length, and they are a combination of pre- recorded material, live classes and lectures, as well as manuals and handouts. Students will be expected to complete homework assignments each week. Although each module is designed to build on the preceding ones, they are also self contained. This enable other styles to select specific areas to focus on that can be integrated into their existing curriculum. A certificate of completion is issued for each course - However, all 5 modules are required if you wish to test for Apprentice Instructor rank in HAVOC. Contact Sifu Jay Cooper for more details

*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS* Good morning!!! Last night we launched our new kid boxing class, and it was super fun. This class is a fantastic cardio workout for kids, ages 4 to 12. Its a simplified version of our adult fitboxing class. Its included in the kids unlimited membership, or $40 plus GST for unlimited kid boxing only. Next class is Friday at 5:30. We are still doing belt grading for Karate on Saturday, December 19. This will be done by appointment only, so if you are ...wanting to grade for your next belt level, call or text Sensei Sarah at 403-462-0850 to book your time. With restrictions in place, we cannot do group classes, but we can do private lessons. If you would like to book these to prepare for grading, or if you are uncomfortable with Zoom, call or text to book an appointment. We do half hour for $40 +GST, or an hour for $70 +GST.
