I recently opened my salon doors at home due to COVID, which allows me to homeschool my daughter while servicing the community. C O L O U R C O R R E C T I O N One of the hardest most challenging things a stylist faces every day is colour correction. There are so many variables that take place: underlying pigment, hair history, natural level, to name a few. This client has been waiting since FEBRUARY to get rid of her red hair. I’m beyond ecstatic about this turn out. Not only did we lose no more than 3 inches in length, we kept her hair’s integrity strong. The process? See below: 1. Back to back pl...atinum card. Aka every strand foiled. 10 volume to start, slowly increasing with each bowl. Finishing with just under a 20volume and oxycur platin. Olaplex every step of the way! 2. Low lighted 6N + 6G for a gentle root stretch using Goldwell Cover Plus lotion. 3. Toned at the sink with a 9BA colorance lotion, 4 drops Pearl Blue Pure Pigments + 5 drops Cool Violet. Olaplex No. 1 in my toner. Toned for 15 mins. 4. Olaplex No. 2 and a wicked scalp massage. 5. Cut, blow dry, style... MODEL.
