Here we go... Our second week of Spring Break is here and we couldn’t be more excited! Last week, our campers spent time with our amazing educators Mandy & Emily for a week of hands-on arts learning. They made their own commercials, learned visual arts techniques, enjoyed the views at Lake Lafarge, and had a fun, safe week of exploring their imaginations. We can’t wait to see what this week's campers make with Wendy & Michael. Looking for something creative to do at home? We’ve got tons of free online activities for you to try! Good morning, Coquitlam - Spring Break is finally here! We were so excited to welcome our Week One campers back safely to our studios this morning, and it feels so good to get creative with our campers again! If you're not joining us for camp this year, don't worry: we have tons of family friendly activities available for you to try at home, starting with NEW Spring Creative Kits from the Art Gallery at Evergreen this week (March 25-28)! These free artmaking kits will be... available to pick up during Gallery Hours and include all the supplies for three art activities. 50 kits will be available, first come, first served. Plus, the Gallery's indoor exhibition with Erika DeFreitas & our new outdoor exhibition with Asalah Youssef are available for you to visit. Looking for more creative inspiration? It’s the beginning of another week here at Evergreen can you believe December is already halfway through?! This week we’ve got some exciting things coming from the ARt Gallery at Evergreen. Starting December 17, you can pick up a FREE Creative Kit during gallery hours! There are 50 at home art-making kits available on a first come, first served basis, and contain a handful of projects based on our current and past exhibitions. They’re the perfect gift for any young ...artist this holiday season! Want even more art? We have an important safety announcement to make! As you know, the latest BC Provincial Health Order has been extended until December 07, and that means there are some new rules and schedule changes coming to Evergreen. Effective immediately: Wearing a mask is now required all indoor public spaces at Evergreen and the @artgalleryevergreen. This means that masks are now mandatory at our Fall Speakeasy performances and must be worn unless you are sitting at your designated tab...le to enjoy your concession snacks + drinks. Show postponement announcement: Like many arts + culture organizations, we are announcing our latest show closures with a heavy heart. As required by the Public Health Order, we must postpone our next two shows with the Blue Moon Marquee and Martin Mayer. But not to worry - Martin's Grade Christmas performance has been rescheduled for Saturday December 19, and we've rebooked the Blue moon Marquee as part of our Spring Speakeasy Sessions - more info about that soon! We will continue to keep you up-to-date about our scheduled live holiday shows, starting with the Bergmann Piano Duo on December 09. In the meantime, our Box Office staff will be contacting ticket holders about their options and are available to answer any questions you may have about our new policies or flexible rental + ticketing options. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Art Gallery for the opening of Wayfinding over the weekend! It was so great to have people back to enjoy art in our space.
