Hello everyone, Due to further restrictions mandated by the Alberta government, we will not be able to resume in person classes on December 1st as previously scheduled. Due to these new restrictions, I’ve decided to start our holiday break a little sooner. Zoom classes will continue this week and the first week of December. December 4 will be our last class of 2020. ... 2021 classes will start on January 5th either in person if it’s permitted or otherwise through zoom. All students who are scheduled to gup test will now be testing through Zoom. The test is on December 3rd starting at 7:30. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays. Tang Soo Legion Experience

Hello everyone Due to the new Alberta government mandate, Experience Martial Arts will not have any in-person classes for the next two weeks. We will be returning to Zoom classes beginning Friday November 13th through Friday November 27th. Class time and length will remain the same. However, there will be no classes on Thursdays during this period. For the adult class, both Group A and Group B will be able to join Tuesday and Friday classes. Zoom login information will be ...posted to the private EMA Facebook group approximately 10 min before class begins. Also, the gup test that was scheduled for November 26 has been rescheduled for December 3. Classes will resume in-person on December 1st. Hello everyone, Classes start tonight! Dragons start at 6:30 PM... Adult class will start at 7:30 PM. Group A, I will see you in person. Group B, I will see you through Zoom. As always, I will post the meeting ID and passcode in the EMA: Classes and Training Videos group. REMINDERS: Please come in uniform Masks will be mandatory. I will be providing disposable masks. However, feel free to bring your own if you have one. We have very limited space for spectators, so please let me know ahead of time if you plan on watching class. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS: Hello everyone, Good news, classes will be starting again on September 15! There are going to be some changes to our class structure to ensure everyone’s safety. ... Here’s how we are going to do that: Door handles, light switches, bathrooms, and any other equipment which will be used each day will be sanitized before and after class. Mats will be sanitized between classes. We will also have a hand sanitizing station in the Do Jang. To maintain social distancing the mats will be set up in 3x3 squares. They will be spaced apart from each other. There will be 1 person per square or two people if they live in the same household. This will mean we can accommodate fewer people on the floor than normal. This shouldn’t affect the dragons class. However, we are going to have to split the adult class into two groups. One group will come on Tuesdays and the other group will come on Fridays, with groups alternating Thursdays. I will also be streaming every adult class (through Zoom) for those who cannot be present. This is what we need from you: Masks will be mandatory to attend class. Experience Martial Arts will supply masks. However, you can also bring your own. Everyone will have to arrive in uniform. Students won’t be able to stay in the building after class, they must leave immediately. This will allow us time to sanitize the mats in between classes. Any socializing will have to be outside. Also, we will only be able to have a few people spectating. If you don’t need to watch, please don’t. In addition, students and parents/families will NOT be able to wait in the library of Phoenix for classes to begin or end. There will only be one bathroom available to students. Adult students will have to be committed to coming on their days. We’ll be posting a calander soon as well as a poll for the adult class to determine students preferred days to train (either Tuesdays and alternating Thursdays OR Fridays and alternating Thursdays). We will do our best to accommodate students preferred schedule. The price for September will be $45 as we are starting half-way through the month. Moving forward, the fee will be $85 per month. We know that times are tough right now so if you are having problems paying please let us know. We are willing to work with you. If you have any questions please ask me. Hello everyone, I hope you all are enjoying the summer and staying safe. I wanted to give you a quick update regarding our plans for reopening the school. Most excitingly we’ll be starting in-person classes again. This will likely happen mid-September. There are still some details to be finalized. However, we do know that we will have much smaller class sizes. This will be to ensure students can properly social distance from each other during class. To compensate for these... smaller class sizes, we will also be using Zoom to stream each class. This will enable students to learn from home but still engage with the rest of the class. There are still many details to be worked out but we are very excited to start up classes again. I will post our finalized dates and other information later this week.
