Here is a little before and after that will surprise you. A complete styling overhaul. Our clients wanted to convert a sofa that has been well loved and used by their family since the kids were born into something that better suited the newly renovated home. We reused the seat and back portion of the frame, rebuilt the arms, replaced all foam with natural latex, and dressed it in a lovely @camirafabrics wool/linen blended fabric. This was a far more expensive way to go about ...replacing their piece but they felt it was important to teach their kids about reusing and recycling all that is in their capability. Our clients saved and researched until they could make a responsible decision on how to proceed with the project. They also kept the clear pieces of leather from the arms and back of the old upholstery to make a few leather bags. So greatful to be wrapping up the year with a really fun and exciting project for a beautiful home up the Indian Arm. The whole Fabulous crew was out and about today. Us girls had a quick field trip out to the job site via boat from Deepcove, while the guys wrapped up a couple instals before Christmas! We will be creating a custom sofa with French mattress cushions that sit within a walnut trim frame. The plan for this house is that it be used for functions and events. Wit...h this in mind we have designed the couch to have dual functions and be able to disassemble into modular sections and be easily relocated. When the sofa is pulled away from the corner a beautiful navy velvet wall will set the stage for bands to play. The design for the arms with set in walnut shelves will develop as we go.
