FailSafe was contracted by Summerhill Fine Homes to complete the structural lift related to the renovation and restoration of Granthams Landing Community Hall. Granthams Hall was originally a church and was built by volunteers in 1931. In 2009, the Regional District took ownership of the hall from the Granthams Landing Improvement District. Early in 2015, the Regional District closed the hall for public use due to safety concerns arising from engineering report on the conditi...on of the foundation and roof. There is a high degree of public interest in the project primarily because of the recreational use of the hall for arts performances, weddings, community events, flea markets, private parties, meetings and any other events.
