We installed this landscape in 2013 and just did a little add on yesterday to reduce the line trimming along the deck. Really love seeing how the plants are filling in over time! When we planted those aspens, they were only as tall as the fence!!
A few brand new projects weve just finished up, as well as checking in on some former projects! One of my favourite things is watching designs grow and morph with each passing year! So many beautiful flowers in their glory right now!!

Im often asked about the merits of sod vs seed and to irrigate or not. Complex issue. It boils down to your tolerances. The property on the left is a Kentucky Bluegrass, irrigated lawn that was laid as sod. Beautiful but costly to maintain as it requires daily watering. The property in the right is a non irrigated mix of Kentucky bluegrass, creeping red fescue and perennial ryegrass. It was originally installed as seed. As the summer continues on, the bluegrass will continue to brown off until we get more rain.
