Lake Louise Ice Rink Update Today, April 2, 2021 will be the official last day for the #LakeLouise ice rink. As of tomorrow, April 3, 2021, the rink will no longer be maintained, cleaned or flooded and Alpine Social Rentals will no longer be renting skates. We would like to thank everyone for the great season and look forward to welcoming you back next year.

IMPORTANT REMINDER Avalanche Danger in Lake Louise We would like to remind all Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise guests along with any Lake Louise visitors of the avalanche danger in the area. ... We have noticed people traversing and tobogganing on the Fairview Mountain avalanche slope (pictured below). This area is an avalanche runoff slope and extremely dangerous. Please be mindful of avalanche signs around the area and do not proceed past these points. Notably, on hikes such as Plain of Six Glaciers, Lake Agnes, Little Beehive and Big Beehive which are all high risk avalanche zones.
