I am so pissed right now I don't even know where to start as if 2020 hasn't been bad enough. Over the last several months I've been stressed out over a bunch of... things for those of you that know me and those of you that don't I have very long thick curly hair that is now half the thickness it was this time last year. It has been falling out by the brush full and in the shower. I just chalked it up to the stress. I've used Tresemme shampoo for years it's the only thing that tames my hair. Well guess what... I got a phone call from my mother tonight telling me to stop using it. She just got an email about a new class action lawsuit against Tresemme shampoo for having ingredients in it that make your hair fall out. So this is my warning to anyone who uses it and has had issues with their hair falling out stop using it class action lawsuit look it up. See more

Most people think hairdressers suggest good shampoo to make extra money off their clients. However, THIS is proof how bad build up can get on the hair! I was l...ightening a woman’s hair yesterday and noticed how resistant it was to lighten, and this I realized why. What u see at the bottom of this processing cap is buildup literally melting off the hair! The ingredients in certain shampoos are basically coating your hair with plastic. It may feel silky smooth at first, but after a while you get so much buildup your hair dies from the inside out, because it can’t get any moisture through the layer of coating. Makes you think twice before grabbing that Pantene off the shelf next time

Buy local or bye-bye local This Christmas, I encourage people to shop from their local businesses instead of from corporations so we can keep these places run...ning during uncertain times. So many great places have had to shut down since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and I hope to inspire people to strive to keep hope alive by investing in your neighbourhood shops so we don’t continue to see doors closing and families hurting. Also, we are all understanding of difficult situations during this pandemic so if you have booked an appointment with a service provider, please give them ample notice if you are not able to make it for whatever reason so they have the opportunity to fill that spot. A lot of services run on commission, and our time is valuable and there are others that would have loved that spot. Please be conscious & respectful - everyone is just trying to get by in a crazy world. End note: The Lemon Tree Salon & Studio is accepting food donations for the food bank and local shelters until the 17th. I have had some seriously bad experiences with Splat in clients hair. Chemical reactions/unable to remove it...all around not a good product!
