We are proud to let you know that just recently we have relocated and installed at our Hall, the Mosaic, that was once displayed at Vancouver City Hall. The Mosaic, created by the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Spilimbergo, was originally donated to the City of Vancouver by the Regione Friuli as a gift for the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Vancouver. A few years ago, it was moved to the Italian Cultural Center on loan, while the City building was undergoing extensive renovations. It has now come home to our Hall thanks to the efforts of Aldo Qualizza and Carlo Tolusso. We will plan an unveiling ceremony of the Mosaic when the restrictions will be lifted.

Since early March, we had to shut down all operations due to Covid-19. As a remedy we switched some of our operations in the kitchen by offering take out options which have been very well received by a large number of people. The feedback has been exceptional. As of now, we are anticipating these operations will continue in the New Year until we are able to regroup and return to a more normal life.... We will provide you with the new schedule of take-out events for 2021 once we have defined all dates and times. Happy New Year!

As we are waiting for the Covid-19 situation to improve and resume activities and events at the hall, we want to share a few pictures of the recent painting of the hall. Work is almost complete with only minor touch-ups left.
