Megan shares, We all know the benefits of reading to our little ones, but what about reading outside? We love to provide story time outdoors at our Wildwood programs Just like the body needs exercise, the mind needs reading to be healthy.... The air is fresh, crisp and clean and it has a natural remedy to ease the mind and create concentration as well as send you into relaxation mode. Providing books about nature or the environment they are in helps them relate and have a better connection to the story you're providing. You're opening up an invitation to play and to their imagination skills. And not to mention all that wonderful sunshine vitamin that they are soaking in Next time you're on a little outdoor adventure with your little ones try packing a story or two and when the time is right find a cozy place on the nature floor open of the book and begin to explore
