Will I still graduate since the 2020 convocations were deferred? Yes, if you're eligible. Graduating is different from attending convocation - if you have completed your program requirements successfully, you will still graduate and be awarded your credential. Eligible graduates will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar with more information (check your FOL account). Contact [email protected] with your full name and student number if you are unsure of your ...graduation status. Fanshawe College has been approved to welcome international students who are travelling to Canada. Fanshawe has received Ontario provincial government approval for our COVID-19 Readiness Plan. The College now appears on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) updated list of designated learning institutions (DLIs). Our DLI number is O19361039982. International students, please check your email for more information or visit Fanshawe International .... Approval of our COVID-19 readiness plan means that Fanshawe is able to welcome approved international students with a Study Permit who are travelling to Canada, whether their program is being delivered fully online or in a blended format (combination of online and in-class delivery). Before making travel arrangements, students are asked to complete the COVID-19 Readiness Form. Swipe up in our story to access the form, or go to https://forms.fanshawec.ca/covid19_readiness. The form includes helpful information about quarantine (you will need a quarantine plan), as well as travel and arrival information. Students must also have an approved Study Permit or a letter of introduction that shows students are approved for a Study Permit. English language learners at Fanshawe had fun sharing these messages for a recent contest! Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program offers English language learning designed to prepare students for post-secondary studies. It includes 10 different levels, each with eight weeks of intensive grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking and pronunciation lessons. As one of many practical opportunities to apply what they've learned, EAP students particpate in a virtual ph...oto message contest each term. The assignment gives them a fun way to demonstrate their developing English language skills as well as intercultural nuances like showing humour and encouragement.
