Following public health guidance, Fanshawe will not be hosting a Remembrance Day service on campus this year. Staff and students are encouraged to watch Rogers TV London for the 2020 Remembrance Day service from the Cenotaph in downtown London. The broadcast will air on Wednesday, November 11 beginning at 10:45 a.m. on the Rogers TV website. The service will also air at that time on Rogers TV London and will be re-played at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Fanshawe’s winter 2021 term is scheduled to run from Monday, January 11 to Friday, April 24, 2021 with no exam week. To help limit the spread of COVID-19, Fanshawe will continue to offer classes in both fully-online and blended format (i.e. through a mix of face-to-face and online delivery) during the winter 2021 semester. The health and safety of our students, staff and communities continues to be our top priority as we follow guidelines from public health and the governmen...t, says Fanshawe President Peter Devlin. Offering our programs in this format reinforces our commitment to deliver classes in the safest learning environment possible. Students will receive specific information about the delivery of their program by the end of October. Course schedules will be available by December 8. Are you coming on campus for classes? If so you will need to do a Covid screen each and EVERY time before entering the school. For ease download the Fanshawe Stay Safe app to your mobile device. It’s quick and easy!! Once you answer the few quick questions and pass you will receive an email. Have this email ready and show the kiosk screeners for quick entry in. You can also complete this screening from any PC. The form is available in the FOL homeroom!!

Are you a first year student? Feeling like you are not getting info about your upcoming year? Are you checking your FOL (Fanshawe Online) email? All correspondence is sent to your FOL email. Please ensure you are checking this daily!!

Studying at Fanshawe this fall? You should have received an email yesterday about your official Fanshawe student ID, known as a FANCard. It's an all-in-one card... to: access campus buildings and student services; make food purchases on campus; print or make photocopies on campus; use for identification for exams; help Fanshawe faculty and staff get to know you especially during these times of increased virtual learning. New students, before you get your card, you'll first use an online system called MyPhoto to upload a photo at your convenience (some restrictions apply). Instructions are included in the email and in our "First Year at Fanshawe" Facebook groups. Already have a FANCard from a previous program? No need to change anything - your card still works! For fall 2020, students in blended programs will receive their FANCards at a designated location on their respective campus when in-person classes begin. To ensure your card is ready in time, make sure you upload your photo by September 15. Students in fully online programs this fall will not receive a physical FANCard at this time due to limited campus access. Please upload your photo so that it is on file for a digital version. Upload your photo today for a chance to win! The first 100 students to upload their photos using MyPhoto by September 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EST will receive a $5 credit on their FANCard Flex Plan, which can be used for Fanshawe retail purchases (including online orders), at food outlets on campus, printing, photocopying and more.
