Here are two of the 2014 Farmaroos working on a wheat crop at Nandaly, 400km north west of Melbourne. Perfect conditions have followed the weekend's rain - clear skies, light winds and only 25 deg C.

A well-deserved day off for our Farmaroos after 16-20mm of rain fell in the Mallee over the weekend. Time for a trip to town, shed clean-up and maybe some forty winks.

Week 1 for our Farmaroos is almost done and dusted! Some big days in almost perfect weather conditions has seen them make great progress on this wheat crop.

Our 2014 Farmaroos have arrived in Swan Hill, safe and sound! This evening they are on their way to their allocated farms to enjoy a couple of days of R&R before the 2014 harvest kicks off in earnest next Monday.

Applications for 2014 have now closed. Thanks to all those who applied. If you missed out this year, please consider becoming a Farmaroo in 2015. In the meantime, stay tuned for updates as the season progresses. The grain harvest has started in Western Australia and South Australia and is expected to be well underway in Victoria by the end of the month.
