Autumn doesn't always promise that winter will come, but she works hard until every leaf has reached it's destination.

Now Autumns fires burns slowly along the woods and day by day the dead leaves fall and melt.

A world of grief and pain flowers bloom even then.

Who knew there was so much local talent. Look at all the nice pumpkin centerpieces made at our workshop last night. Well done ladies.

Happy Monday! Although it's early I wanted to get a head start this year on some new ideas for Christmas. This year we will be offering Christmas baskets or trays of homemade baked goods delivered to your loved ones. More information to come but this may be an alternative to a centerpiece or bouquet or you can send both. Let us know your thoughts!

September Garden Checklist: Collect seed and herbs for drying. Add compost or manure to garden beds. Cover water features with netting to collect falling leaves.... Check houseplants for pests, then start to move indoors. Plant new trees and shrubs, to give them at least six weeks before frost. Plant spring flowering bulbs. Clean bird feeders, gardening tools.
