Be patient with yourself. Nothing in nature blooms all year.

Farmhouse Flowers 06.10.2020

Autumn leaves don't fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this their only chance to soar.

Farmhouse Flowers 29.09.2020

Good Morning Gananoque. Enjoy this beautiful day!

Farmhouse Flowers 26.09.2020

Flowers can't solve all problems but they are a great start!

Farmhouse Flowers 26.09.2020

Autumn doesn't always promise that winter will come, but she works hard until every leaf has reached it's destination.

Farmhouse Flowers 21.09.2020

Now Autumns fires burns slowly along the woods and day by day the dead leaves fall and melt.

Farmhouse Flowers 15.09.2020

A world of grief and pain flowers bloom even then.

Flowers are the music of the ground, from Earth's lips, spoken without a sound.

Farmhouse Flowers 16.08.2020

Summer said in shades of blue, "let me be young a few days more", "walk forward" autumn whispered, "there's a colourful horizon to explore."

Farmhouse Flowers 14.08.2020

Happy Monday! Although it's early I wanted to get a head start this year on some new ideas for Christmas. This year we will be offering Christmas baskets or trays of homemade baked goods delivered to your loved ones. More information to come but this may be an alternative to a centerpiece or bouquet or you can send both. Let us know your thoughts!

"The tints of autumn....a mighty flower garden blossoming under the spell of the enchanter, frost."

Farmhouse Flowers 08.05.2020

September Garden Checklist: Collect seed and herbs for drying. Add compost or manure to garden beds. Cover water features with netting to collect falling leaves.... Check houseplants for pests, then start to move indoors. Plant new trees and shrubs, to give them at least six weeks before frost. Plant spring flowering bulbs. Clean bird feeders, gardening tools. Continue watering trees and shrubs until the ground freezes. Bring in any clay pots. Pull weeds before they go to seed to reduce the number of weeds next year. Fertilize your lawn. See more

Farmhouse Flowers 01.05.2020

Count the garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall. Count your life with smiles and not the tears that roll.
