THE BEST is yet TO COME | Prayer for April 5, 2021 (Monday in the Octave of Easter) Then they went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce this to his disciples. - Matthew 28:8 Prayer : Lord, just like Your disciples, we are happy when we have good news, yet frightened and worried at how others will react to it. May we never allow other people’s reactions dampen our spirits. Just as the news of Your resurrection has gladdened our hearts, may we infect other people with our overflowing joy and never worry about how they will receive the good news. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen

THE BEST is yet TO COME- Our Daily Prayer for November 24, 2020 Then they asked him, Teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen? - Luke 21:7 Prayer: Lord, some people say that the end is probably near because of all the things that are happening. Nobody truly knows what the signs are but we ask that You grant us the humility to seek pardon and mercy from all our sins. Give us repentant hearts that will strive to do what is right in Your sight. May we turn away from our wicked ways and turn to You especially during these uncertain times. And whatever happens, may our trust and faith in You never falter. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen

Topic: Evangelization Through Christian Community Message Notes: Part 1/8 : Understanding Our Mission and Vision Kingdom of God In Luke 13:18-21 Jesus compares the kingdom of God to a mustard seed and to yeast mixed in with flour. Both start off small, but each is a force for growth. So it must be with our faith in Jesus Christ, it may start off small but bit by bit it will grow as we nourish it with the Word of God, prayer and praise and worship, communal prayer and worship..., and loving fellowship and sharing with fellow believers. Yes, it will grow so that others will see our faith and be drawn to Jesus in Whom we have put our faith. FCCCPC and Deacon Stan Cor Our Mission and Vision In the celebration of the Christ the King, we will journey together how the New Evangelization will flourish in the entire world. Christ is the King of the universe, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Is He your King Let us listen and watch in the back-to-back movies on YouTube and Facebook, In memoriam - Fr. Part 4/11 Growing in the Powers of Christ - Be a Servant Love is Selfless Love is selfless, therefore it gives to and for the loved one without counting the cost to itself. We see that in spouses giving for each other, in parents giving for the well-being of their children, often to personal sacrifice. Love is selfless. God’s love is also selfless; God’s love is the root and example of all true love. God gave His very best out of His amazing love for us; He gave His son, our ...Lord Jesus Christ to redeem us and restore us to His friendship. A preacher once said, God the Father bankrupted heaven so that we could be saved and come to Him now and be with Him forever in heaven. Love is selfless. God is selfless. Jesus came, not as a glorious conquering warrior king, but as a selfless servant for you and for me. Receive His love; live His love and He lives in you. Become selfless as He is selfless. Amen! FCCCPC and Deacon Stan Cor This lockdown is an opportunity to go the extra mile to support others. What about artists, musicians, writers, and speakers who have lost much of their income due to the shutting down of entertainment venues, schools, conferences, and retail stores? Can you send a word of encouragement? This is a perfect time to reach out and get right with someone who will be encouraged by your thoughtfulness. Together, we will serve one another. Part 3/11 Growing in the Powers of Christ - God's Thoughts and God's Ways God above all Jesus said to His apostles, Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matt. 10:37-39) Jesus made it plain that we are faced with... a choice: Jesus above all and Jesus before all. Yes, we must still love and honour our parents and other family members, but our love for God must be above all. Paul in Romans 6:3-11 tells us the same truth that to receive Jesus as our Saviour and Lord is to die to self and to live for Jesus above all, to live in newness of life in Him in the power of the Holy Spirit. We see in some societies that when a person has a revelation of Jesus and believes in Him becoming a Christian, that person faces death from their own family members. Even here in Canada we face opposition from those who do not believe in Jesus and want to abolish Christianity. However, we have the promise that Jesus is always with us, that He has sent the Holy Spirit to teach and guide us, and that even dying for Him is better than anything the enemy might try to frighten or seduce us with. Faithfulness to Jesus is true life, much more wonderful than earthly life. Jesus above all, beloved of God, Jesus above all! FCCCPC and Deacon Stan Cor Filipino Canadian Catholic Charismatic Prayer Communities (FCCCPC) commits to being the treasure in building people, God is shaping us to be...and to helping others do the same...so together we can do the wonderful things He has planned for us. Alone With GOD - Our Daily Prayer for October 23, 2020 ...with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love - Ephesians 4:2 Prayer: Lord, it is not always easy to understand and be patient with other people - we get upset or even offended when someone does something or makes a comment we either don’t like or don’t agree with. May we learn to be meek, gentle and humble like You, that we may only have compassionate love for others and live in peace and harmony with everyone. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen

No, I tell you, but rather division. - Luke 12:51 Prayer: Lord, may we never be lukewarm in our faith. Alone With GOD - Our Daily Prayer for Prayer for October 21, 2020 That servant who knew his master’s will but did not make preparations nor act in accord with his will shall be beaten severely. - Luke 12:47 Prayer: Lord, do not allow us to become like this servant especially during the pandemic. We are well-informed of the rules and guidelines to keep ourselves and others safe - by washing our hands with soap and water, wearing a mask and social distancing. Grant us the grace and humility to follow them faithfully that covid19 will not have a stronghold upon us. Give us healing and do not allow any more suffering. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen

Part 2/11 Growing in the Powers of Christ - Authentic vision Christian Maturity I, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called.... until all 0f us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. (full text Ephesians 4:1-3, 11-13) As our children ask on a long trip, Are we there yet? We can ask that same question about our journey of f...aith, Are we there yet? Another question to ask ourselves is, Am I on the journey? Am I making progress? Am I putting in time and effort to advance in my faith journey? What more or different do I need to do in order to become more mature in Christ? Let us continue as companions on the journey to maturity, helping and encouraging each other until we hear the Lord say, Well done, good and faithful servant! FCCCPC and Deacon Stan Cor This time of covid-19 has been a stressful time for us all. It has disrupted everything: families, friends and neighbours, work, study, and leisure. In the midst of it all, be assured that Jesus is with you to give you all the graces you need to deal with the obstacles you face and to overcome them. Jesus, Emmanuel, God is with you. Lean on Him; trust in Him. His shalom, peace be with you! Alone With GOD - Our Daily Prayer for Prayer for October 19, 2020 But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’- Luke 12:20 Prayer: Lord, sometimes we forget that we work to live NOT live to work. Oftentimes our priorities are misplaced. We think that success lies on how much material and financial possessions we have. Grant us the grace to realize that our possessions do not determine our happiness, fulfillment and peace - it is in being able to use them for Your works and for sharing them to those who are less fortunate.
