Our team at 1055 Hillside Dr, Kamloops volunteered their time this weekend with the Salvation Army, providing free haircuts for kids. Way to go, everyone!

Some children in Kamloops got some free back-to-school haircuts. The Salvation Army has added in the cuts to their usual back-to-school programs where backpac...ks and water bottles are given out. Youth coordinator Daniel Webster came up with the idea and approached the manager of First Choice Haircutters while getting a haircut. Julia Wright jumped on the idea because she knows how much of a difference a good haircut makes to people. Her favourite part? Just seeing the smile on kids faces and doing something that’s rewarding. The Salvation Army in Kamloops hopes to make the free haircut day an annual event.
