Gifts in the month of December totalled $11,315!!! Thank you to the dedicated members and supportive organizations whose generosity will help FCO provide dignified funerals and memorial services for families in need and provide education programs for our members and the wider community.... Today (Wednesday) was the 6th anniversary of the passing of Mark Goldblatt, the Funeral Co-op's founding president and tireless supporter. Thanks, Mark, for your hard work and essential role in getting the Co-op off to a good start! Shown below, Mark's grave marker at Beechwood Cemetery highlights his role in the co-op movement. Mark's wife Linda O'Neil (centre) accepted Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada / Coopératives et mutuelles Canada's first Achievement Award posthumously in Saskatoon in 2015.
