We didn't share the news on yesterday's highlights of the classification results because we felt she deserved her own post!! This is Gillette Windbrook Sallyfee. Now fresh with her 4th calf she was also moved up to EX status. She is from Gillette Champion Sally EX 4* and then none other than our GUINNESS WORLD CHAMPION PRODUCER Gillette E Smurf EX 91 2E!!!

Pretty decent day scoring cows yesterday! 8 new VG 2yr olds, and 3 new EX 4yr olds! 2 of those Excellents went 91! Both Dukes!! -(pictured here, first cow) Gillette Carry Duke EX 91 4yr from VG Lottomax x EX 3* Mogul x VG 87 4* Iota then R-Z BAXTER CARAMEL VG 89 2yr 47*!... -Gillette Duke Merika EX 91 4yr from EX 5* Halogen x VG 88 11* Mogul Merrill x VG 87 2yr 13* Sandy-valley planet Melody! -Gillette Jedi Clevergirl EX 4yr from VG 6* Bombero x Clear-echo McCutcheon 2820 Highlight from the 2yr olds is VG 86 first score Gillette Jaxon Taller. She is from a VG 88 Day x VG 86 3* Planet x EX 92 10* Marineau Talijha Shottle The other VG 2yr olds were sired by Bighit, Rubicon, Montoya, All class, lautrust, modesty and big Bubba. All from our big families like Morsan Colt 45 Christmas Fudge, 2820, Goldilocks and Melody.

**Fresh with 3rd calf, Gillette Mogul Serum moves up to EX 93 at 79 days fresh!!! ** HC classifier Richard Villeneuve was the one that scored her VG 89 max score in her second lactation, pretty special moment to have him visit us again and Serum be ready to be scored as a third calf! He did not disappoint, at 79 days fresh, looking better than ever he gave her a score of 93 points this time around. As quoted by Richard himself "when we score a cow 89 at 2 calves, this is exactly what we want to see when she calves again. Not just a 90 point cow, but a 93 point cow like this one right here. This is a beautiful young cow!"

VG 89 points Gillette Mogul Serum calved in with her 3rd calf a couple of days ago! A beautiful, stylish, St gen d-lambda Ashby heifer. Both are doing real well! In fact Serum is already producing over 54 kg a day!! Her dam is EX 92 4* Beacon 2nd Service who is finishing her 4th lactation with a record of 20 821 KG (*305) Next dam isVG 86 2yr 9* planet 2nd Snooze, ... then VG 89 11*Bolton 2nd Sleep and then VG 88 73* 2nd Wind herself! Quite a stack of stars behind her! Serum should be a very exciting young cow to show the classifier next round.

Today we had the opportunity to host a feed bunk management session with Masterfeeds and Alltech. They had brought up Alltech's feed bunk specialist/ elite dairy advisor Derek Wawack from Minnesota. Very informative and cool to see him analysing our bunks. Thanks to all who came out today. More pictures in our story.
