In keeping with the spirit of giving, we’d like to recognize three extremely important organizations in the Lethbridge area. 5th on 5th Youth Services helps youth with academic, social and employment development in the Lethbridge community. Wood's Homes is a mental health centre helping children connect with mental health professionals in Alberta. The third organization we’d like to recognize is the Lethbridge Food Bank, which supplies meals and essentials to vulnerable peopl...e in the community. We’d like to recognize another extremely important organization we support in our community. The Lighthouse Supported Living Inc. provides emergency shelter and supported living for individuals in need. Continuing on with our Season of Giving, we’d like to recognize another amazing organization we support. Haven Kids' House (formerly the Crisis Nursery) in Saskatoon provides support for over 1,000 children each year, helping families with emergency childcare in a warm and welcoming environment. Due to restrictions caused by the pandemic, they were unable to have their annual fundraising event this year. However, they are currently doing a 50/50 with a draw date of December 18. Continuing on with our Season of Giving, we'd like to recognize the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC and the wonderful work they do providing a safe, fun environment for kids as well as counselling and addictions services. In keeping with our Season of Giving, we’d like to recognize our Yorkton service team for assisting the Sask Health Authority by volunteering their time to install a new therapy swing used for children with disabilities. It was a small act of kindness with a big impact. Way to go Troy, Vaughn, Ed, Kevin & Cam!
