I heard about this earlier this week on CBC World Report. Hope they get home soon.
We continue to live in a turbulent time where information seems to be changing daily and coming at us from all sides. As communities of faith we are in a unique place to do more than we are being asked to do by our governments. We are called to look beyond ourselves to what is best for the others around us. And so... Last week we suspended all in-person church related activities (including worship and meetings) indefinitely in an effort to minimize the effects of COVID-19. We want everyone to stay safe and be healthy. We continue to connect via phone, email, snail mail and our website. Meetings and a Sunday Morning Gathering are being held via video conferencing when possible. Our office will remain open so the business of church can continue.
We are suspending worship for 2 weeks in an effort to minimize the effects of COVID-19. Please contact the church office if you have any concerns.
Come join us at Lendrum Mennonite Church for a wonderful celebration!
Such a wonderful contribution! Glad we could be part if it.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
Happy to host this event. Please join us!
Thanksgiving Sunday, 10:45am: We will be celebrating Communion and Child Dedication during the service. The children will be taking a collection for the Food Bank during the service. Following the service stay for the Thanksgiving Potluck. Everyone is welcome! Please bring a dish to share and join in either set up or clean up. Many hands make light work!
Congratulations to our Ride for Refuge team! From Edmonton not Winnipeg
Join us Sunday September 15th for the Welcome Back Potluck Lunch. What are some of your favourites? That salad with oranges and almonds? Or maybe taco salad? What about those sweet and sour meatballs? Maybe someone will make the infamous hashbrown casserole. And will at least one person bring something chocolate in the sea of fall spice apple based desserts?! Drop by and see for yourself! Come to worship, stay for the food!
