Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther advocated for faith formation to take place in the home which is why we have the Small Catechism today. In following Martin's lead, and because of the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will engage with a "Fall Faith Formation At Home" series this year. Dear friends and gentle hearts, This year we celebrate our 16th (!) year of being a Reconciling in Christ congregation. The church has come a long way in those 16 years but there is much work left to do and so much to learn. Thankfully we are called to be lifelong learners rooted in curiosity and grace! The learning process is deeply important to our communal life and since June is Pride month for our LGTBQ2SIA+ siblings, I hope that you'll take a minute to read this reall...y wonderful Lutheran introduction to sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
