This Wednesday, the FIRST Canada Youth Council wants to recognize the achievements of Dr. June Marion James, a Black Canadian trailblazer in the medical field. #DiversityFIRST

Today we celebrate Lesley Buckley. Lesley is a medical physicist at The Ottawa Hospital her research focus is on imaging dose, improvements in image-guided radiation therapy and quality and safety initiatives. She is involved in teaching medical physics residents, graduate students, radiation oncology and radiology residents. She is also part of a global oncology initiative partnering with cancer centres in developing countries. #womeinscience
