DH What came to us as an immediate lower denture with many challenges, turned out great now that he has a new custom lower denture with 4 implants for a much better fit.

Today we had a song written for us by a new happy customer that came in with teeth hurting! They Hurt Anymore! Denturist Ditty! (Tune -a Hank Snow song I Dont Hurt Anymore)... "They dont hurt anymore All my tear drops have dried! Now my dentures feel great And Im satisfied!"

Our front lobby has been modified! We have a shiny new plexiglass shield (Thank you NuTek Sign Creations) in front of me so you can still see my smiling face when you walk in. The door is locked but I will put on a mask and open the door for you when you arrive. We are careful to make sure you will be the only one in the lobby at a time. Amazing how fast two years have gone by and how much we have learned since then. At Fischer Denture Clinic we make SEMCD/lower suction dentures every day and havent made a conventional lower denture since 2015. Lower suction dentures fit so much better and our patients love them.

Another important part of what we do at Fischer Denture Clinic ... taking great photos of teeth! What a great experience!

Customer dropped into the clinic today to say he had dentures made 2 years ago and still has fantastic suction and attributed Markus and his team for fantastic work. He can bite into an apple and eat corn on the cob like a typewriter!

We got a cute visitor in our clinic on Friday. Another example of dentures might not work for everyone! We told her to be patient, not our patient.

There was a day last week full of Happy Tears! It started with a patient crying because she finally had beautiful teeth and ended with a patient that cried because her new dentures from FDC made her look like her mom again! #happytears #newdentures

Love getting calls like we did today from a patient that called to say THANK YOU! She is so happy after Markus fixed the dentures (made somewhere else) that had never fit well. "Now they dont hurt anymore and when I was eating I forgot I even had dentures in my mouth. He made such a difference, Im feeling kind of emotional." Markus isnt a magician, but he is very persistent and will work hard to find a solution for the challenges hes given.

Making great connections in Quebec!

Here is just a sample of some of the training that was going on in Quebec earlier this month. From what Markus has said they are a great group and he was very well received. His presentation had to be moved to accommodate the larger than expected crowd of keen attendees!

Earlier this month Markus was in Quebec, teaching Denturists the SEMCD lower suction denture techniques and then presenting at a Denture Conference. Fun fact... half the Denturists in Canada are in Quebec!

Markus Fischer is published! Hot off the presses, in the Denturism Canada publication. The magazines they had at the convention in Quebec this month, disappeared like hot cakes after Markus presentation! I guess everyone wants to make a good impression!

On a happier note...another patient this week told us how when her and her husband (also our patient) were leaving their campsite, a fellow camper stuck his head in the window and told them they had beautiful teeth! She was happy to tell him about Markus and how he could have beautiful teeth too! Happy Camping this weekend folks!

Had a good reminder this week! A patient came in for a denture consultation, and had a sore in her mouth that made it difficult to wear her dentures. As a professional practitioner Markus is trained to watch for gum disease. After an evaluation, he walked her straight over to the dentist next door to get a biopsy. We dont know the results, and this is not a photo of her, but we are hoping with professional care, she will be fine. Another reminder to have regular checkups so potential problems can be caught early enough to address!
