I CAN and I WILL. WATCH ME All you need to do is start and keep telling yourself just that. There’s no perfect time and it’s time to brush away that feeling of uncertainty, self doubt and just start wherever you are at. You don’t need to wait for a Monday, you don’t need to wait until your kids are older, you don’t need to wait until after summer is over. ... Anything new can be uncomfortable, scary, and hard but what if you leaned into the uncomfortable, scary, and hard. What if you created that healthy lifestyle change you always craved, what if you lost the weight, what if you felt the absolute best you have in a very long time. How do you feed your sweet tooth when you just HAVE to have something sweet? I feel like I NEED something sweet every night . Being sugar-obsessed has been one of my biggest stumbling blocks as I’ve gone through my fitness journey. I will never stop shouting the praises of counting macros because it’s been so helpful for me to still be able to have sweet treats- just needed to learn how to make them fit your day in a balanced way. I love Built Bar because they have some of t...he best macros out there for protein bars. When I’m looking for a good macro split, I’m making sure the carbohydrate and protein grams are similar and the fat grams are under about ten grams. For me personally, that’s a good macro split. Built Bars have just enough of each macro to give me energy, fill me up a bit, but also not ruin the day in terms of overdoing it. I’m such a nerd- I just love counting macros and figuring out how to make it all fit together haha ! . . Wanna try? I know it’s HARD. HARD to CHANGE your eating habits. It’s hard to get into a NEW ROUTINE. It’s hard waking up early to get your workout in or maybe staying up late after everyone is asleep to spend that time on you. TRUST ME I GET IT. . I STRUGGLED for YEARS trying to find that MAGIC POTION to get me in shape, creating happiness in my life & calm my ANXIETY. .... But here’s the thing... when you start CREATING these ROUTINES of fuelling your body, strengthening & challenging your body & showing up for YOU. That’s when it becomes CLEAR. . It’s CLEAR that YOU are WORTH it. YOU GOT THIS!!
Progress vs Expectations That fitness lifestyle thing... you know the thing you say you want? Yeah that.... It takes a boatload of TIME & a frickload PATIENCE A heckuva lot more than you actually think it does. Want muscle definition? Time. Want sustainable fat loss? Time. Want a mindset shift? Time. Want your muscles to fire like they’re supposed? Time. Want to learn how to eat without deprivation? Time. Want to build muscle? Time. Want to develop healthy habits? Time. Listen, I can sell you a fast fix & get you ‘results’ in weeks or months. But I ain’t that kinda coach Cuz I KNOW (like I’m sure you do) the more extreme the measures.. the more fleeting the results The LONG way is in fact THE way. So maybe it’s time to embrace the space & TIME between where you are now & where you wanna be. So think about this for a minute Imagine exercising to build your body instead of shrink it? Or to fill your body with food to actually nourish instead of eat as little as possible in the hopes to be smaller?... Wow, such radical thinking right?! And exactly my fitness philosophy;) The idea is not to eat as little as possible to achieve a certain goal but to eat as much as possible & still get there! The idea isn’t to burn X amount of calories in a workout but to train muscles & build strength! Stop the madness
