Young, healthy cats looking for outdoor homes or indoor/outdoor We are helping with the spay/ neuter of about 20 cats at one location in the Beausejour area. They have been well fed and sheltered by the family at this location.... The cats are young, less that 3 years old, and appear healthy. There is no indication of health issues. The younger ones have some socialization and can be further socialized. The older ones are feral and scared. Some operations have been completed and others are planned. All of them can not be returned as that is too many in one place. Please contact Fixing Feral Felines if you might be able to offer a home or know someone that may. Thank you

Just a note to tell you what we are doing. We get awesome support from you so you deserve to know what we are doing. Hello everyone . I want to being you up to date on the activity of Fixing Feral Felines. 1. Previous raffe . The Stay Home and Stay Safe raffle we did last fall with Jack's Animal Rescue brought in S4000 total, $2000 for each group.... We are amazed and grateful for the support of the community both with donations of prize items and ticket purchases. 2. Spay and neuter. Low cost options have been very limited. Three cats were done in January and 12 more at a clinic at the Beausejour Animal Clinic recently in cooperation with Jack's Animal Rescue. Your money funded or subsidized this work. THANK YOU. 3. Adoptions . We adopted out 9 kittens and a few adults. The kittens are scheduled for spay neuter on April 1st. We are hoping that we can adopt out more adults. Keep your eye on this site for details. 4. Financial support for individuals. Because of limited low cost spay neuter opportunities, we asked individuals who are rescuing and caring for strays and feral to explore other options and we provided financial support with your money for these operations. Examples, we helped with the costs for two cats on March 12 and 6 cats rescued by one person were done in late February. 4. Community development. One very important goal for Fixing Feral Felines is to help people establish spay/neuter and stray/feral care teams in their community. Using social media posts we have identified persons in various communities who are interested in animal welfare. We have established small communications groups on messenger with these persons to provide information, guidance and encouragement. At present we are communicating with persons or groups in 5 locations. Ask us how we can help you and your neighbors in your community. 5. Project 17. We have been asked to help with spay/neuter and rehoming of approximately 20 cats at one location. We are working with the family caring for these cats to trap, confine, socialize, spay/neuter and explore options. Two clinics are set up for early April - 10 cats each - for these cats. At Fixing Feral Felines we say that We have our feet on the ground; Our hands on wheel; And our eyes on the future. We do it with the community with community support.

Today the Jack's Animal Rescue and Fixing Feral Felines "Thank You for caring" award goes out to the wonderful people at KKP printing, 940 Elgin Avenue , Winnipeg. Linda and Clark Norman and family have been a part of Fixing Feral Felines family for a few years. We are very fortunate that they are. Their business KKP printing has again donated a cozy zippered jacket for our current fundraising raffle. This item is included in prize basket 8. Winter's Coming.... They have also fostered cats and kittens, adopted rescue animals, including one of ours. Three great reasons to patronize KKP printing are that they are locally owned, they support animal rescue and they are wonderful people. What a wonderful village we live and work in. Thank you See their current fosters below. 7 weeks old. Ready for adoption.
