We hosted a dinner party last night featuring the wonderful tastes we enjoyed during our adventures in Southeast Asia. It brought back memories of the amazing time we spent there.

I had a chance to chat with this wonderful fellow Canadian while I was in Cambodia. Today I hung the oil painting we bought from an artist in Vietnam. I love how he captured the wet street with broad strokes.

Day 90 We have reached the end of our amazing adventure.....only the flight from Vancouver to Toronto and then the drive home is left for tomorrow. We ended the last few days of our trip by visiting more family in B.C.....5 hour drive from Vancouver. The mountains were beautiful and we had a great time catching up with family happenings. Some people are missing from our pictures because we forgot our camera one day We are looking forward to sleeping in our own bed, getting ...lots of snuggles from our granddaughter, hugs from our kids, hugs from our friends, and most of all......sharing with everyone we know our pictures (over 6000!) and all our adventures (too many to count!) We hope we have inspired others to grab their passport and just go!!!

Welcome to one of my favourite places on earth. Salt Sting Island, B.C. holds a special place in our hearts because some of our family lives there. We had a great couple of days getting over jet-lag while we enjoyed the island life. We even got to visit with a couple that we met on the slow boat to Lauang Prabang! Thanks for the wonderful memories

Back in Canada and now waiting for ferry #2 to Salt Spring Island, B.C. We were greeted with 9 degree weather......a little different than the temperatures were have been use to over that last three months! We have been travelling for over 24 hours and it will be about 28 hours by the time we reach our destination. Rick has been able to grab a couple of hours sleep....good thing since he is driving!! Our favourite Salt Spring family will be meeting us at the harbour.....hopefully with beer and wine at the ready!!
