Guess what is coming? Oh my, I have really stretched myself this time! I just recorded and made my first online video tutorial. Do you have any idea how hard it is to do all the steps of this on your own! Holy Moly! Okay so the last step is to learn how to get it to you! So although I’m not quite there yet, I wanted to let you know that this year being the year that it is, I have decided to not host any in-house workshops at the Flower Fort but I will supply a Winter W...reath Kit that comes with a link to my how to Tutorial. I’m hopeful that you will order, pick up your kit, get festive at home with a favourite beverage or two, put on some Christmas Music and press play on the video link and get creative! Well a little bit ago it was suggested to me to enter a floral design contest. I initially said no but it kinda lingered in my mind for a few days and then I did a design in a workshop and when it was done, I said to myself...that’s really pretty. The name of the design contest was Just make it pretty and at that moment the dots connected in my little brain and I decided to enter the contest. With no expectations, I sent in my entry. ... Well the other day the winners were announced and guess what! Nope, I didn’t win! Ha! But my entry was one that was selected to be placed into the digital photo book! I’ll take it! Whoot whoot, I am happy with that for sure! Check it out! It’s a good little feeling to be placed among so many talented artists.

Remember these? Well, these were the ones I had the Ranunculus Watch 2020 in my stories in June as I was waiting waiting waiting for them to bloom! This time I am trying something new to me. I planted many of them today! I am hoping to over-winter them and that way they will get the earliest start possible and hoping perhaps maybe they will be good to go for Mother’s Day 2021!... Keep your fingers crossed!

Well I have come to the conclusion that gardening is kinda like childbirth. Somehow you forget how painful the process is after the worst part is over (pic #2) and then you do it all over again because all you remember is the beautiful outcome. (Pic # 1) Putting the garden to bed right now and wondering if I will keep to the promises I keep making myself today. You will not plant more next year! Lol. I highly doubt that promise will be kept! They are so beautiful...I love them all! But for flips sake, it’s hard work!
