One of my favorite quotes I've heard recently, is that "Our God is the God of unmet expectations." At first, this quote was confusing to me, because as I view God as my loving Heavenly Father, I wondered why he would give me a life filled with so much confusion and many painful experiences. I realize now, though, that Our God is the God of unmet expectations because he is a God who knows us perfectly and knows what we need perfectly, and his plan, though it has twists and tur...ns, will give me greater blessings than any plan I could create on my own! Our God is the God of unmet expectations, and that means he's the God of the good days and the bad, the answered prayers and the days the heavens are silent. That's why I love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone here in Vernon!
