Thank you to Mrs. Boldt grade 7 students from SML Christian Academy for coming out last Friday to bake and make the sandwiches for our outreach. So awesome to see the children giving back to their community it was definitely a fun afternoon. https://m.facebook.com/SMLacademy/

Just a reminder that we will be running our outreach this weekend along side, Garments of Praise ( the free store ) and the prayer team will be there if anyone would like prayer or words of encouragement 10-1pm at the house directly behind Lighthouse church 49 Boulder Blvd . Also free bread and dessert available for pick up on Sundays from 10:15-11:15 from the house.

What an amazing day at Food for the Soul, we were able to help out 118 people,. We just want to take a moment to thanks all our volunteers without your help we wouldn’t be able to run this outreach. We also want to take a moment to highlight some amazing members of our community, that gave some donation for this weekends outreach. Ariel Roddi Dawn Delainey from pack-a-care has been such an amazing partner. This amazing young local has been putting together Hygiene packs a...nd puppy and kitty care packs, these kits then have been distributed to our families and also the unsheltered community in the inner city. Thanks to her monthly donation our families have been able to enjoy individual bags of popcorn, chips, protein bars and protein chips. Thank you for being part of the team. And thank you Amber from Secondhand helpers group for bringing us Cobbs bread today, everyone was excited about the delicious treats and fresh baked bread. Our next free community bag lunch outreach is happening this sat from 10-1pm at the house on Lighthouse’s church property 49 Boulder Blvd. The Garment of praise free store will also be running their outreach. We thank God for providing what we need to serve our community, yesterday my car was so full and we blessed 100 people in our community through our outreach. Again a big thank you to all the volunteers and those who donated towards yesterday’s outreach

Bah humbug COVID-19 With no family or friends in my home this Christmas, except by Zoom video LOL, it excited me to do something benevolent, something tangible, and something in person for those in our community of Parkland County. As my wife and I headed out Christmas morning, we quickly noticed how deserted our neighborhood seemed, no added vehicles in driveways, no visitors, no hustle and bustle, the streets were quiet.
