ATTENTION: All 2021 U18 Tackle Selection Camp Participants. The Jan. 23, 2021 U18 Selection Camp date will be postponed. The 1st date for U18s will now be held on Jan. 30th, 2021 from 4pm-7pm and the 2nd date will now be held on Feb. 6th, 2021 from 730pm -1030pm. Today the Province of Nova Scotia announced that the current sport regulations (originally announced on December 16) will remain in place for at least another two weeks (11:59 pm January 24). Sports can continue to practice or train with groups of up to 25 without social distancing. The number of 25 includes all participants in the sporting activity, (coaches, trainers, etc.). Games, competition, and events are not permitted. All teams and training groups are to be consist...ent within their own personnel/participants. These regulations apply to the entire province.

Football Nova Scotia (FNS) is pleased to announce the first Elite Performance Program for female flag football. The program focuses on improving athletes physically, mentally, technically and tactically. Athletes will undergo a thorough gap analysis, plan design/consultation and technical support by position. Athletes will work with an Integrated Sports Team (football coaches, athletic trainers, mental performance trainers, nutritionists and strength and conditioning coache...s). Who is eligible and how do we apply? To be eligible for the Elite Performance Program, an athlete must have been part of our U16, U18, and U20 provincial team in 2020 or identified by Provincial Staff during the 2020 Fall Flag League. Starting Wednesday Nov 18, 2020, email invitations will be sent out to all selected athletes.
