Our grounds are certainly no stranger to change. What was once a Mi'kmaq hunting and fishing ground eventually became Fort Sainte-Marie-de-Grace, the 1st capital of New France. In more recent years a number of lighthouses have come and gone, and today the original lighthouse keepers home is still part of our museum (with a couple additions along the way). As we head into 2021, we are excited for whatever the future may bring for our little museum.
