#Shooting another #service for Dunbarton-Fairport #United #Church - I've been working with these guys since March 22 last year and have produced over 50 hours of content in that time! It's been a pretty cool process figuring out the workflow to be able to #create an hour of #professional #video every week in a timely manner! In a time without #travel or things like @tiff_net to attend, it's easy to forget how big and #amazing our #world is. I've always felt one of the easiest and most effective ways to broaden our #horizons and explore different #ideas , is through the #art of different times, #cultures and #peoples - and it should come as no surprise that my art form of choice is #cinema ! #Movies allow us to #live in the shoes of strangers, #explore far away lands, and #experience all of the ri...ch spectrum of #emotions while reliving history or #dreaming about the #future . #Film is a #beautiful amalgamation of the #arts , mixing #performance with #visual , #writing with #music and offers us an #incredible #opportunity to reach each other across both time and space. Since I seem to have a bit of extra time, I decided to refresh myself with a @criterioncollection haul exploring #classics and #international #flicks I've missed on my #journey so far. This is what we'll be starting with! And while I subject my wonderful wife @s_before_lemon to all manner of cinematic experiences, I'll try to remember to review and comment on each #movie here as we watch them! I hope you're all staying safe and sane - and I hope we can all find ways to make these challenging times both fruitful and productive - whatever that looks like or means to you!

Hello folks! Now that our short film, *The Use of Deadly Force* has finished its' festival run - we are finally able to post it for all of you to watch and enjoy! Starring the incredible Elvis Stojko alongside the talented Katie Ryan Richard Collier Aaron Heels Steve Slavi Kasan and Dave Poulin, the film follows Captain Dagda as he delays a SWAT team from breaching, in hopes of talking down an armed assailant with two hostages. As time runs out, every decision becomes more vi...tal. The short was written by Glen Doyle and shot by Sasha Moric, with editing by Christopher Wilson and a tense score by the ever talented Gagan Singh. We played at a number of festivals internationally and took home Best Regional Film at The Durham Region International Film Festival. A little set prep for a POC shoot with Elvis Stojko, AP Piggot, Rob Notman, and the guys from ActionCAN Films over the next couple of days. I love this stuff - channeling some 'Punisher' vibes with this design... or at least I hope so! It's going to be amazing!
