This is a throwback photo to one of the rare times Nolan let me (Kendra) ride along to check a herd of calving cows at Douglas Lake Ranch when the rest of his crew had a day off. Here he's doctoring a fresh one under the mama's watchful eye. Many of our local ranches are busy calving right now! We have good stock of calving supplies here at Freeman's to support you... obstetrics, colostrum and milk replacer, vitamin and mineral supplements, CCIA tags and ID supplies, non-prescription vaccines, etc. If you're just looking for honest, experienced, practical advice, we can do that too. We wish all of our local producers a very successful and problem-free calving season!
