Jam-packed great time last evening in my mentoring session for EFT students and practitioners. We tossed around working safely and effectively with groups. The December 12th mentoring is now full. I am in the planning stages of an online, full-day 6 hour mentoring day for January. How do people feel about January 23rd?

Hearing from recently trained EFT students that they are practicing a lot warms my heart. Building confidence after your training even when the sessions aren't perfect is the way to incorporate Tapping into your personal & professional life.

To ponder this morning. As "helpers" we want the best for our clients. Here's my wish list for each and every client that they arrive at the session 1. Unrushed 2. Grounded and calm if possible 3. Have privacy (online sessions) both you and the client 4. Committed to themselves ie Loving themselves enough to create space for change 5. Feeling safe enough to allow the energy to move within themselves Tip: You could use #5 as the second half of the Set-Up "Even though I have this problem and I'm nervous to work on it I am choosing to allow myself to feel safe enough to let my energy flow" This modified Set-Up creates empowered choice for the client or person you are tapping with.

Having two family members with hearing loss I've learned a lot. The only thing I'd add here is that hearing loss is a disability but it's invisible so folks often don't realize so please don't be shy or embarrassed about saying " I have a hearing challenge please face me" and don't hesitate to ask servers to turn down the music in restaurants. Makes the meal much more enjoyable for conversation for everyone but especially for those with hearing loss.

How lucky am I to be able to continue teaching EFT this year when it's most needed to keep our heads above water. Tapping is an amazingly effective "emotional self-help" technique designed to gently calm our nervous system. Next course in November www.freeyouremotions.com
