We endeavored to brand, build and deploy a full business accelerator program to assist small businesses in Burns Lake with the increasing challenges that they have been faced with. After a extensive 15 week program, I can say - it truly was a success! The businesses that participated have done an amazing job at growing and opening their services to the d...igital world. We were honored to work with each of them and we are very proud of the branding and digital marketing we were able to do for each of them. We now sit patiently awaiting to find out if the Pilot Program will be continued and if we able to offer it to Canadian small businesses in March. It is with great sadness, that we announce our resignation (that occurred yesterday) from Count-Down Marketplace. After hours of communication it became clear that against the rules of contests, the president of Count-Down was going to hand select the winners of the 'Treasures Are Yours' contest that we administered through the month of August. He ignored the automated selection process, and the winners that were computer generated at 7AM yesterday morning and after several... attempts to maintain the integrity of the contest we recognized we had no option but to resign and make the public aware of the actions. We are terribly sorry to all that participated and will be reporting the actions to the necessary channels. We run honest, clearly defined contests and will continue to do so. Every entrepreneur can relate to this. I always used to say 'Shoot for nothing, hit it every time'. Entrepreneurs are the bravest in the world, hands down.

Interesting concept we'll have to wait and see how it effects online e-commerce and if it will be accepted as trust worthy.
