Stanescu is also the author of over 20 peer-reviewed publications on the critical study of animals and the environment.

SIX NATIONS (located on the grand river) IS UNDER ATTACK. AGAIN. Unarmed demonstrators have been met with rubber bullets, tasers, and 9 arrests so far without fair justification by members of the Ontario Provincial Police. Unresolved land claims are in effect on this land. The Crown unlawfully sold the disputed land to Ballantry homes who are planning a housing development project. The band council was forced on the community in 1924 at gunpoint; they are not a legitimate d...ecision making body. Community consultation revealed only 12 of the 79 in attendence approved the project. Indigenous consultation is required for land developments; the verdict was Ballantry Homes does not have consent. Rubber bullets are being fired at land defenders on Six Nations reserve. OPP are arresting Indigenous people for trying to protect THEIR land from housing developers. At least 5 arrested, probably more by now. Please, PLEASE share, donate and show up for our neighbours.
