Conspiracy Theories October 2020 If you have been receiving social media postings about conspiracy theories you are joining a longstanding tradition. They are not new. They have existed likely since the time of Adam and Eve after they left the Garden. The difference now is the ability to send out information quickly and widely. Social media has great upsides, but it also is a platform that is hard to determine what it truth and what is not.... While I enjoy good conversation and like to hear a variety of opinions, when it comes to conspiracy theories, there is little point to discussion. It generally amounts to statements told to each other with little room for conversation. I am more interested in life giving conversations about what is energizing you and what you are excited about. I am interested in what is getting you down and what burdens you are carrying. In short, I am interested in a relationship conversation where we get to know what is happening in our hearts. I love conversations about what God is doing; what I can pray for and hope for. That energizes me. So if you feel I am not taking the postings seriously enough about conspiracy theories, your feeling is correct. I do not mean to be disrespectful.
