Saying goodbye. Thank you whisk-air for coming through at the 11th hour when it was too rough for a boat. It is amazing where you find love, I left a part of me there, it will always be there. I won’t be going back. I have and will continue to have too much hurt in my heart from all that clls Canadian Lighthouse’s of Lake Superior has put me and my family through. Wish more of my things had been there but I got most that mattered most and my belongings that walked, I beg they bring what you needed.

Bad news for the lighthouse rescue! Given that we only got a small window, I am going to try and sneak out tomorrow morning in a much much much much smaller craft. I won’t be able to bring more then 2 people and they already know. Monday isn’t looking much better! So just keep praying

One of the many things i loved about this island is it's impossible to get to? So the repairs are done, the boat is no longer available for this weekend ~ we will be moving this to the 21st and looking at the long range forecast, the 22nd is more likely. This will have to be an early morning start and we are hoping to be done and back by 1 pm. Given how late in the year this is getting, we will need all the help we can get. there will be a big steel boat at the dock that you can tie off of. Thanks in advance!! I can't wait to have my things back!

Looks like another rescue mission is in the works the first week of September we are looking at going out, weather permitting, to retrieve my belongings from the keepers residence!! Pm me if you’d like to be involved in the rescue mission it will be an amazing adventure!

Unsure how positive their response was. Fingers are crossed. Mostly do to trust issues, I can't help but worry. Also, I am only sharing the full letter in person as CLLS has been very clear regarding their interest in my belongings.

Please note that in 2011 Maureen left all her belongings on that island to me and said so in the coast guard office. I could hunt down your former employees, I have emails referencing those conversations. Allen was there. 807-345-6311 and he was not happy. So unhappy, in fact, he told a whole room of people at a recorded library meeting in October 2012. CLLS has stolen my work, 10 lighthouses, volunteers, spread lies to you and everyone that asks of me, and now they are after the contents of this house on Trowbridge? Which they have been in and I have two magazine articles that reference the inside of that building one as recent as Sept 8. I am done. I would very much like my belongings. I have so many very personal, beloved items that without I feel lost. I have worked hard and spent tones to try and have so many of DFO’s ideas fixed. I am so hoping I have come across someone with common sense. I did not give that group anything, I saw the greed and was trying to put things in place to keep people from getting too much control and stealing from others. They agreed voted and then changed their mind not 1 but 2 or 3 times. I would like to stop losing. Why would they request my inventory list if they had no access to the property? This property is hell to land at ~ common sense ~ bring everything even your dishes and beds back and forth each spring and fall? Thank you for your time, Diane Berube

I hate calling people liars but how many lies can you spot? Paul Capon today is your day, next week will be Mr. Ariss’s, if I have too. Sorry but we have yet to hear from you regarding retrieving my personal belongingness, with our history I can’t help but wonder if you’ll give me an opportunity in December?!
