Men of the North would like to say thank you to the few walkers for our Smudge Walk For Sobriety on November 22nd, 2020. To the ladies that helped stand the lo...dge. As traditionally it is the women’s job to lift the tipi. As the bottom of the tipi is the skirt, which is Grandmother/Mother Earth. All the female nurturers come from the Mother Earth so everything inside the lodge is protected and given shelter. Thank you to Mr. Ron Ratte for lifting the sacred pipe Thank you to Mr. Harry Lilheavyhand Charles & others for taking turns to watch our sacred fire. Like ourselves, the fire represents our life, our warmth and the fire inside us all to wanting a healthy living. -National Addiction Awareness Week- #MOTN #YANA #KINGS
