please read Entire post!! Titus (Ti) is ready for adoption!!! Titus is a loving, playful and affectionate 16 month old boy who would love to climb into your bed as well as your home and heart. Titus is very well behaved in the house and yard. Titus is good with other dogs, even puppies (though he can play rather roughly, can be very pushy and still needs to learn some manners around dogs). Titus has lived with cats (but will chase them). Titus needs a slow introduction wi...th strangers, but is very friendly once he is comfortable. Titus loves water play, loves his toys especially tug toys. Titus can be vocal at times, especially while playing and when he hears a commotion outside. This handsome boy is very smart and eager to please, making him rather easy to train with clear and consistent communication. Titus is VERY reactive towards bikes, rollerblades and scooters and will need ongoing training to manage this behaviour. Titus does have a bite history with people on bikes. Because of these behaviours, Titus is not suitable for a home with children under the age of 15. Titus will need to be in a fully fenced yard with no visibility to a road or walkway. Some tools to help Titus have a enjoyable and safe walk are a gentle leader and an ecollar (used for positive reinforcement with a tone and treat, correction is ONLY for reactivity). Blind dogs see the world not with their eyes, but with their hearts! Foster Pupdate - RAY We are so happy to share that Ray has settled in very well with his wonderful foster family. Loud noises, such as trucks and construction related work that scared him 4 weeks ago, now just have him curious and interested. He has also improved when asked to sit inside a vehicle. Previously he would start to shake and whine non stop, but now he is able to relax! Up to this point, his... foster was sitting in the back seat with him for 5-10 minutes at a time in order to help him feel more comfortable. Keep up the great work! Lately his favourite is objects to crunch on are empty plastic containers (supervised of course). His absolute favourite one is the peanut butter container, and yes, he does make sure to lick it perfectly clean first! Due to his ectopic ureter he has had a couple of small accidents in the house, but it seems that they happen quickly and as soon as he realizes what is happening, he immediately stops so that he can race to the door to go outside! However, not one accident in his crate. Overall, this stunning young pup is just a fun loving boy, bubbling with personality! This comical dog knows how to work the smiles and his training is coming along! Ray has learned many ways to cope with being a blind dog but unfortunately we believe that Ray still needs lots of training and would thrive better in a single dog home. Ray was adopted to a home that has 3 other dogs. We felt that at the time he was learning so much from our pack that he LOVED being around other dogs. Thats when we figur...ed he needed to find a home where other dogs could guide him. Fast forward a few months Ray realized that he is not fond of some other dogs and unfortunately his owner had to surrender him back into care as Ray was not being good to one of his fur-siblings. It took us awhile to post that he is back into care as we wanted to be able to report how he is doing please find a note from his AMAZING foster dad Sandy! Hi Ashley, just wanted you to know that Ray is doing great.. Everyone in the neighbourhood loves him.. Hes doing better on walks although still gets spooked by loud noises and cars... At home hes fantastic, loves to sleep on the couch and chew his soccer ball. Ray is 100% potty trained.. He sits at the door, will paw at the door and either bark or whine...Hes also is not to fond of car rides, Ive tried to put him in the car to take him to the park and walk the trails but as soon as I put him in the car he starts to shake and doesnt stop shaking until we get to the destination..Poor Dude We are happy to report that Ray will continue to gain more experiences in his new home and were happy to have him back. #blindbullyxl #loveyouray #goodboy #letscuddle #soccerballsaddedtoamazonwishlist
