Last night I delivered a workshop on good spine hygiene including some tips on how to preserve your spine while sitting. I think we are all guilty of this type of behavior- rounded backs while texting, typing, driving, etc. A simple fix of your eyes "meeting your screen where it's at" will help to save your spine and prevent mid-back pain.... Many of us are now working more from home. Make the necessary adjustments now, and not, "when things go back to normal", to improve your spine health! Did you ever wonder about the interaction effects between exercise and vaccinations, and specifically how exercise could possibly enhance the immune response after a vaccination? Two studies looked at the effect of exercise following an influenza vaccine in athletes. What they found was that high intensity exercise/training actually strengthened the athletes' immune response. In particular, They found significantly more anti-influenza immune cells and antibodies in the ath...letes’ blood, especially in the week after the shot! Now, the study was done with high-level athletes, and it was not the COVID-19 vaccine.
