Its a sad day at Gaia, our sweet Aaliyah is moving on to prepare to move home to her family, she has been such a light, and she will be missed very much, by our team, and we are sure, our customers as well. We received these beautiful carvings from a very special lady who decided they belonged at Gaia, and we couldn't love them more. Thank you so much Leanne Pierce Schneider! Twice Leanne's Uncle Art brought a carving back for her from Ethiopia. After retiring as a high ranking Inspector from the RCMP, Uncle Art went to help oversee the work being done in Ethiopia to rebuild the Police Force there, and rid it of corruption. He bought these from street vendors who supported them...selves by selling their art. Leanne mentioned to us her hope that when we look at them, we will remember her beloved Uncle Art, and his fearless and brave work, trying to help rebuild a damaged country. Now that you all know the story, we hope Leanne's Uncle Art will be remembered by many

Hey everyone, we will be closed tomorrow, Tues. Sept. 22, and plan to reopen Wed. Sept. 23 at 11am, weather permitting! Stay safe and dry !!!

The cuisine is superb, excellent staff, friendly, 5 star service. The menu is accommodating for all dietary concerns, be it celiac, vegan, gluten etc. Exceptional portion size, very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!
