D É R I V E S À L A D É R I V E P H A S E II D R I F T S D R I F T I N G P H A S E I I projet d’installation en production installation project in ...progress Présentement en processus de création, l’installation DÉRIVES À LA DÉRIVE PHASE II propose un questionnement sur la dérive humaine et artistique, une thématique qu’Anne-Marie Giroux explore depuis 2014. Composée d’œuvres tridimensionnelles, l’installation est, en quelque sorte, traitée telle une nature morte fragmentée de multiples autoportraits de l’artiste et de son art, à la dérive. Pour finaliser ce projet, l'artiste eu la chance de profiter d'une résidence d’artiste à la Galerie ERGA à Montréal en décembre 2020. L’artiste envisage de présenter ce projet d’installation publiquement en 2021-2022. Voici un aperçu du travail effectué pendant la résidence. Photos: Paul Litherland Currently in the creation process, the installation DRIFTS DRIFTING PHASE II proposes a questioning on human and artistic drift, a theme that Anne-Marie Giroux has been exploring since 2014. Composed of three-dimensional works, the installation is, in a way, treated like a still life fragmented with multiple self-portraits of the artist and her art, adrift. To finalize this project, the artist had the opportunity to do an artist residency at the Galerie ERGA in Montreal in December 2020.
