Après l'exploration des thèmes de la restauration rapide, Jenni Sokura a continué à numéroter les matériaux utilisés. De l'offre abondante de son atelier, pour ce projet, le bois a été choisi comme matière. Tout en se concentrant sur l'étude d'un seul matériau, il a été possible d'approfondir les compétences et les concepts. Les couches de sandwichs sont toujours présentes dans les pendentifs ce qui permet au porteur de parcourir les morceaux de bois rodés. La sculpture sur bois vous rapproche de l’origine du matériau et l’intérêt de Jenni pour le folklore finlandais peut ainsi être vu en détail. After the exploration of fast-food themes Jenni Sokura went on numbering down the materials used. From the abundant supply of her studio, now wood was chosen as the material to be. While focusing on investigating only one material it was possible to dig deeper into skills and concepts. The layers from sandwiches are still present in the pendants that allows the wearer to browse the lapping pieces of wood. Se concentrant sur le travail du métal depuis plusieurs années, elle crée des objets de protection pour le corps humain. Sans que ces derniers ne soient réellement utilitaires, chaque objet évoque sa fonction et englobe le corps du porteur comme une armure. Elle troque cette fois-ci le martelage pour les techniques de pliage du métal, et présente une série de parures inspirées du vêtement, de l’accessoire et de l’ornement corporel. Her work from the past several years has been focused on metal as a main material, which she uses to create protective objects for the human body. Without actually being utilitarian, each object evokes its function and encompasses the wearer's body like an armour.
