Who's awesome? You guys are! Thanks so much to the Dog Pound for voting us the 2020 Northumberland News Readers' Choice Best Local Musician or Band. It is no substitute for actually performing and seeing you all in person, but it warms our collective hearts. Hope to see you all soon!

Today is the last day to vote for Garage Dog and make us happy puppies. We are nominated in the "Best Local Musician or Band" category under the heading "People/Professionals".

As they say at the Oscars, "It's an honour just to be nominated", but if you'd take a minute to vote for Garage Dog in the "Local Musician or Band" category in the Northumberland News Readers' Choice Awards, we'd be both honoured and very happy!

We'll miss celebrating Canada Day in the Port Hope parade and on the bandshell today, but are glad everyone in the Dog Pound is staying safe. Looking forward to when we can howl with you again. Happy Canada Day!

Hey everyone, hope you are all hanging in during this difficult time. For a while I've really struggled to pick up my guitar and feel anything creative. One morning a couple of weeks ago while I was painting my kitchen I had the idea to write a song about what we're all going through. I went out to my studio and put down some rough tracks and a few lyrics and sent it out to the other members of the band who all responded with ideas and the song began to take shape. Befor...e long we had a finished tune with each Garage Dog contributing their own vibe to the track. We thought we would share it with you and decided to record our parts in isolation and I've compiled those tracks to at my studio. The result is what you see and hear. We hope you enjoy it. The countdown is on! In just 24 hours, Dalewood Golf Club will be heating up with the Fire and Frost Fiesta. Storm the Palace will hit the stage at 7, and Garage Dog at 9. Come out and beat the Feb. blues with a little rock! Tickets will be available at the door.

Lots of great music at the Fire and Frost Festival at Dalewood this weekend. Hope to see you there!

Sat. Feb 15 get yourself to Dalewood Golf Club. Food and music all day long. Enjoy the outdoors tobogganing, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, then come inside to heat things up with a mexican feast and a little rock'n'roll. lt's going to be a howl!
