Details, details - what we see as unique features of this kitchen ...the corner glass cabinet at window, a 5x7 hidden pantry at left of wall oven, and the view.

Many thanks for the new likes on our page. Two new projects in past two days...we're excited.

This Craftsman inspired home was designed for a family of four with a busy lifestyle. Our proposed solution includes a protected front porch, generous entry with walk-in closet, hidden kitchen pantry, piano room with 48" french pocket door, office/den, bedroom sized workshop and laundry rooms, steam room, and luxurious master bedroom suite. All in a relatively compact 2,650 sq ft. The photos probably tell the the story better than we can.

Details, details ... I'm sure this has been done elsewhere, but I have never seen it. A longitudinal window above the mirror brings in natural light right where you want it.

One of our more challenging projects for Spatial Organisation - two Semi-detached Homes on a Postage Stamp sized lot in Hintonberg. Our mandate was to design a pair of freehold Semi-detached homes. With a total lot width of 30 ft, the interior width of side-by-side units would be too narrow at 11 feet. A Front/Rear Unit configuration doesn't work either, because each freehold unit must have frontage on the street. Our solution is a combination of both. Side-by-side units, one... unit having greater width at front, and the other having greater width at rear. This enables wide main living spaces in both units, avoiding the 'Bowling Alley' effect of typical narrow side-by-side units. The biggest challenge on this very small lot was to make the main living space work (Kitchen, Dining, Living). The only way to do this was use part of the Kitchen Island as the main dining space. The result is luxuriously sized Kitchen and Living Rooms, a Dining space in a very practical location and an open main living space that works for a couple or small family. See more

This Craftsman inspired contemporary home sits on a hill-top overlooking the Gatineau River. To take advantage of the view from every major living space, the house footprint is relatively narrow and wide. This strategy also reduces the cost of construction by marrying the house to the natural grade. The house features an open main living space, a dining room with windows on three sides, a walk-in pantry in kitchen and a two storey cathedral ceiling in living room.
