Bought these gorgeous riding boots online and unfortunately they don't quite fit, a bit too big in the calf for me Before I send them back, is anybody interested in buying them? Paid $580,-, would sell them for $500,-... Size 10, tall, regular calf, dark brown Did I mention they are gorgeous? https://mountainhorseusa.com/mountain-horseandampreg-sovere

Every fall we like to remind everyone to turn off the yard and barn lights at night. Leaving night lights on disrupt your horses' rest and depress their product...ion of equine growth hormone (EGH). A deficiency of EGH results in weight gain, increased body fat, loss of muscle tissue and bone density, hormone imbalances, as well as depression, anxiety, and fatigue. Horses need complete darkness at night to produce EGH. Just like we do to produce HGH. See more

Remember Your Why. Before you go out on your own, make sure that this is really what you want to do. It’s not always what it looks like on social media. I am o...ften told that people find my blog refreshing because sometimes I talk about the fact that it can suck. And yes, sometimes it really sucks. Sometimes there’s death. Sometimes money isn’t there. Sometimes you’re working 15-hour days and you come home and the well pump breaks, and the air conditioning is dead, and your car won’t start. Sometimes the best horses of your career die of colic before anybody has ever heard of them. Sometimes, in spite of being really good, you don’t get put on the developing rider list. Sometimes clients take away horses, sometimes they don’t pay their bills. Sometimes you go through a streak where you own four horses but can ride 0 of them. If you’re comfortable with that then yes, you’re game. You can do this for a living. But you better remember Every. Single. Day. WHY you’re doing it, because the bad days are bad. You have to really cherish the good. Love your horses And do more yoga. (This was from my final Virtual Cocktail Party, but I thought it would make a good #MondayMotivation topic, too.)
