Client: Oh by the way, can you have a look at the ceiling fan? Me: Sounds like it's seized. Client: Think it needs to be replaced?... Me: Let me try something. As it turns out, I only needed some spray grease and saved the client a new fan $. Yes, I did let it run for 30 minutes or so to test it. I'm glad I was able to fix it like that. Not sure if you know this, but getting the exact same fan or even just a part is not always that easy.

As a result of a broken handrail, a person gets seriously injured. I get called in. Turns out that over an 8 foot rail, there was only 2 brackets. Add another bracket and all is good! OR IS IT? I pointed out that the left bracket was not that strong to begin with (opinion). I suggested the heftier one on the right and my client said "change all 7 please" DONE!

This family's handrail in now in excellent condition with a extra bracket in the center. The original one broke in half. The toilet flush handle was repeatedly being replaced with plastic components...not anymore. I saw to it! I would add all the other little things but again, boooorinnng.

From the start, this was going to take all my imagination, modification and repair skills. On the off chance that I clarify the steps I took, I can keep somebody intrigued or exhausted for an hour I'm certain.
