Spring Camp is open for registration! Please take note of some stipulations regarding our Spring Camp registration & schedule: 1 When you register, you will be registered as a waitlist member - you will not be charged right away.... 2 The displayed schedule will not be run unless FULL restrictions are lifted - expect revisions to be made. In the likelihood that restrictions continue to apply to youth sports, the schedule will be revised to comply with the protocols provided. We will then reach out to those registered to arrange and confirm the revised schedule & costs. It is important to register now, so that we can accommodate every skater if the schedule needs to be revised! If you have any further questions, please contact your coach.
Huge congrats to Coach Shelley Douglas for graduating from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada (MOCC), with a Diploma in Osteopathic Therapy (MOT)! Osteopathic therapy is a type of alternate medicine that looks at healing the body by treating the body as a whole system, treating any structural and functional impediments within the body so the self-healing mechanisms of the body can restore health. Osteopathic therapy is a passive and noninvasive process that manipulates ...the body (joints, spine, muscles, fascia, cranial-sacral, lymphatic system, visceral organs) to help restore structure and function to the body. This type of passive therapy can be useful for people of all ages with all types of injuries or pain, from infants to elderly, and is very applicable to athletes for injury rehabilitation. Coach Shelley has already been treating many clients of all ages and she is looking forward to applying her knowledge to our figure skaters to help them maintain optimal health!
